- Technical Issues: Reviewers from IGN and Sega Retro noted significant audio degradation, particularly in Sonic Spinball, where much of the original music is replaced by a single looping track or is missing entirely.
- Screen Scaling: Games were not fully optimized for the GBA's smaller screen resolution, which can make navigation more difficult in faster-paced levels.
