"Rebel Crown" is a role-playing game steeped in courtly intrigue, ambitious schemes, and the high stakes of royal conflict. Built on the Forged in the Dark system, which was pioneered by John Harper’s "Blades in the Dark," this game offers a character-driven narrative experience focused on deep relationships and moral dilemmas. Players are thrust into a cursed and fragmented empire where one player assumes the role of the Claimant, a deposed heir seeking to reclaim their rightful throne with the aid of loyal companions—be they a wise chancellor, a devoted knight, a vengeful soldier, or an opportunistic outlaw.
